Angling has led this movement and a Licenced Instructor/Coach has had to undergo a lengthy training process, which has included a Child Protection Awareness Course, and an Emergency First Aid Course.

A panel of assessors has examined their theoretical knowledge, practical skills and teaching ability. Licenced Instructors are also required to carry adequate insurance. The Licence is reviewed every year with the renewal dependent on the Instructor/Coach proving continuing professional development and up to date involvement.
